Distributes weight forces from a loaded Cargo Ladder over a larger surface, protecting your Crafter 2017+ or TGE rear door from stress when closing with heavier loads mounted. Comes standard with the Cargo Frame (bike carrier), so if you already own one, you likely have this already.

Two extra hinge shim plates are included as well, keeping the Cargo Ladder evenly spaced from the door at every mounting point. No specific installation requirements, it is a straightforward addition.

Even with the bracket fitted, it is worth closing the rear door gently, especially with heavier loads on the ladder.
