More than 40 years of combined experience
The ASTT team brings together more than 40 years of combined motorhome, electrical and engineering experience.
We specialise in aftermarket motorhome upgrades, off-grid electrical systems and lithium battery installations. As independent specialists, we are free to recommend the solution that makes the most sense for the customer rather than forcing every vehicle into one fixed setup.
That experience also helps us identify potential problems before work begins, integrate new equipment with existing systems and create installations that remain safe, accessible and maintainable for years to come.
Parts chosen by installers
The ASTT store is an extension of the work we complete in our workshop.
We do not want to sell an endless catalogue of products we know nothing about. Our aim is to offer carefully selected components and vehicle upgrades from manufacturers we know, trust and would be comfortable installing ourselves.
Our range includes equipment from established off-grid, motorhome and adventure-vehicle brands, alongside specialist products from partners including Dutch Van Parts and Van der Moon.
Where compatibility matters, we organise products around the vehicles they fit and provide the information needed to make a confident choice. If a customer would rather leave the installation to us, fitting can be requested directly through the store.
Professional installation in Lancashire
Our workshop is based in Barnoldswick, Lancashire, close to the Lancashire and Yorkshire border.
Customers travel to us from across the UK for off-grid systems, electrical integrations and specialist vehicle installations. Completing the work in our workshop gives the team access to the equipment, space and testing facilities needed to carry out each installation thoroughly.
Every installation is planned around the individual vehicle. Once the work is complete, we test the system and walk the customer through everything before handover.
Honest advice without the hard sell
Motorhome and off-grid systems can become complicated quickly. Our job is to make the process clearer, not add to the confusion.
We explain what each product does, why we are recommending it and how it fits into the wider vehicle. If a smaller or simpler system will do the job, we will say so.

Our relationship with a customer does not end when their vehicle leaves the workshop.
We provide a complete handover and remain available if questions or problems arise later. From remote troubleshooting and system health checks to repairs and future upgrades, ASTT Aftercare helps customers continue travelling with confidence.
As travel plans change, systems can often be expanded in stages. We can assess what is already installed, retain what still works and recommend the most sensible next step.
